Danubius Hotel Astoria
Danubius Hotel Astoria sits directly on the Astoria junction, one minute from the Astoria metro stop, putting the four-star property at one of downtown Pest's busiest crossroads. The Dohány Street Synagogue is four minutes' walk away, and Ruben Étterem sits two minutes from the door for an easy dinner option. Relaxed rooms pair with a refined bar/restaurant on-site, giving guests a quieter retreat from the junction's traffic once inside. The airport runs about 28 minutes away by taxi, among the shorter airport transfers in this evidence set. The stately downtown building leans on its central position and its own dining room as the reasons to book, independent of anything operating nearby.

- Ask for a room away from the Astoria junction if traffic noise is a concern.
- Walk to the Dohány Street Synagogue in the morning, four minutes away, before the Jewish Quarter gets busy.
- Use the Astoria metro stop, a minute from the hotel, for most trips rather than a taxi.
