Our take
Ocean views, an indoor pool, a sauna and a gym give The Grand Hotel a wellness focus that few beachfront properties in Punta del Este match. The newer Fortunée tower is the one to ask for: every suite there has a hydromassage tub. A 9.2 guest score across more than 1,000 reviews explains its reputation, and the town's casino scene is close enough for an evening out.
- Book a Sea View Junior Suite King Bed for the best ocean vistas and extra space.
- Make sure to use the hydromassage tub in your bathroom for a relaxing end to your day.
- Explore Brava Beach right outside the hotel for morning walks or sunset views.
Why we love it
- Directly on Brava Beach with ocean views
- Eco-friendly focus and serene atmosphere
- Spa and wellness center with indoor pool
- Rooms with relaxing hydromassage tubs
Why guests love itThe Grand Hotel stands on the beachfront in Punta del Este, so families can split the day between sand and the spa's indoor pool when the Atlantic wind picks up. Suites in the newer Fortunée tower all have hydromassage tubs and look out over the shoreline, the skyline or the park, which gives parents a calmer space once children are asleep. I would point eco-minded families here first, as the resort presents itself as eco-friendly, and a 9.2 score over 1,000 reviews is reassuring.
